The McAlister's Take Disney - Part 1

Oh my!  Where to begin?  This was a vacation like no other!  We got together with Jacob's twin brother and his family for a McAlister Family Vacation.  Brenna enjoyed all Disney World had to offer with her two cousins Ella and Leah.  The kids had a fantastic time!

Planning was fun and alittle frantic.  There's alot that goes into a Disney Vacation; hotel, tickets, flights, dining reservations, tours, and just managing what to fit into your time there and what to leave for next time.  As part of our vacation celebration, I put together goody bags for the girls.  They were filled with fun stuff that I thought might come in handy while we were at the parks.  Mickey Mouse ear hats, light sticks, flash lights, portable fans, princess jewelry, water bottles, bubble necklaces, princess chap stick, princess bath wash, activity books, and finally I made personalized autograph books so the girls could collect the signatures of their favorite characters.

We all met up at Orlando International Airport where we arranged for a limo to pick us up and take us to the hotel.  This was a luxury that was well worth the money, since the alternative involved a charter bus and a whole lot of strangers.  This gave everyone time to visit in comfort and the girls cracked open their goody bags!

First sign of Disney World!

Day 1:  First stop after we got settled into the hotel was Epcot!  As soon as we came through the gates we were greeted by Daisy and Stitch!

After saying hello to the characters and grabbing a quick bite to eat, the kids rode their first ever Disney ride, The Seas with Nemo and Friends.  After the ride we caught Turtle Talk with Crush, which was a real treat.  Crush talked with both Ella and Brenna during the show!

Next we headed over to The Land Pavilion for Living with the Land, a boat ride that tours you through all the technologies used to grow and harvest plants of all kinds using Earth friendly techniques.  The kids really liked it, surprisingly.

The annual Flower and Garden Festival was going on, so there were lots of beautiful topiaries.

Next we made our way around the world for some international snacks!

At the end of a long day, the girls rested in their matching pjs that Aunt Jessica got them.

Who's excited to be at Disney World?!?!?!

Day 2:  The girls were up bright and early because they were excited about their breakfast with the princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table inside the castle at Magic Kingdom.  Inside the castle was beautiful and the girls had fun getting to meet all their favorite princesses.

Our beautiful princesses!

First view of the castle as we make our way to Cinderella's Royal Table.

Next it was off to ride some rides and enjoy our cool day at Magic Kingdom.  The weather was perfect all week with beautiful blue skies, a bright shinning sun, and a slight breeze.

Prince Charming's Carousel

It's a Small World.  This was a slow moving ride, so you can see I had lots of time to take pictures.

Winnie the Pooh

Waiting in line for Dumbo.

Brenna was so excited waiting in line for the Goofy Roller Coaster, but not so excited when it was done.

Snack time!

Dream Along with Mickey stage performance in front of the castle.

The girls had to have balloons!

Back to the hotel for some down time.

There are alot more pictures to come, so check back tomorrow for the continuation!
