Spring Fun

We've had some beautiful weather days recently and the kids have enjoyed getting out.  Last Sunday it was just the right day to fly kites.  Now the kids are all old enough to manage it on their own and it was fun to watch.  Of course the kites were dragged on the ground almost as often as they were in the air and once in they were in the sky they were hung up in the trees or wrapped around the street lights.  But the kids had a great time!

After all the running around they got thirsty.  This led to a make-shift lemonade stand with some old cardboard boxes that were lying around in the garage.  They shouted "Lemonade for sale!" at every vehicle that passed, but unfortunately never sold one cup.  This lasted for all of 10 minutes before they drank all their inventory and then it was on to something else!

While Mawmaw and Pawpaw were here, the kids played out in the street on some of their many bikes, trikes, and scooters.  Each of the Helmcamps have a Razor 360, so Pawpaw thought it was necessary for Brenna to have one too.  He purchased her one while they were here.  Here's Brenna enjoying her new ride with her friends.

HOWEVER!  If Pawpaw intends on keeping up with the Helmcamps, then he better break out his pocket book, because Rodney just came home with a four wheeler for the kids!
