Easter

We had a wonderful Easter holiday.  It was a beautiful time to remember that we are so undeserving of the mercy Christ has given to us and so very thankful for the blessings that He has provided for our family.

This year Easter was jammed packed with lots of Easter activities.  We kicked it off with the neighborhood Easter egg hunt.  Brenna was excited to get the fun started!

You have to be fast.  There's alot of eggs, but there's alot of kids too!

Next was the Kindergarten Easter egg hunt at school.  It wasn't so much of a hunt as it was an egg "gather"!  The 750 eggs went pretty quickly!

My Mom and Dad came for a visit.  Brenna and Mawmaw took care of most of the Easter traditions, like decorating the Easter tree and dying eggs, while Jacob and I got away for dinner and a movie.  This year Brenna and I went shopping so she could pick out her own Easter frock.  It was no surprise that after 3 stores and dozens of dresses she walked away with the closest thing to a rainbow dress she could find.

Finally, I snuck in one quick picture of the basket that the Easter Bunny dropped off before Brenna tore through it!
