Rosenberg Rail Fest

A couple of weekends back we visited the annual Rosenberg Rail Fest with our buddy Tyler who loves trains.  There were lots of games and activities for the kids.  First we made our way through all the games.  They kids enjoyed putt-putt golf, bean bags, ring toss, and the spinning wheel where they stocked up on candy prizes.

They also had stilts for the kids to try test their skills at stilt walking and a wildlife exhibit where they could touch snakes and baby alligators.

After a quick stop for some face painting (this was suppose to be a butterfly), we did the hobo scavenger hunt where the kids got to make their own hobo bindles and then follow the clues through out the festival to filled them with prizes.  This was Brenna's favorite part of the day.

They tested out some colt pistols while we were there!  Our little Bonnie and Clyde!

The weather was beautiful!  It was a great day for an outdoor festival.

We toured the model trains.  Some had very impressive landscape set-ups, complete with a Shell Refinery.

Next it was off to ride the Union Pacific.  The kids got bored waiting in line!

All Aboard!
