My Little Photographer

One morning this week we went outside to play.  It had been awhile since we've let the cats out to play in the back yard, so we brought them along.  Brenna and pickles are like a duo.  So up into the playhouse they went.  And eventually they made they're way up to the crows nest.  It wasn't the best kinda day for pictures, but they were so cute perched up there together that I got my camera and snapped a few.

Once Brenna realized I had my camera, she insisted that we get hers.  We bought her a kids zoom camera for her birthday last year.  Recently, she started asking for it when I get my camera out.  I laughed as I sat back and watched her repeat the actions that I so often do when I'm taking pictures.  This was a case of monkey-see-monkey-do.

I assumed there was no way any of her shots would amount to much, but I was shocked when I later downloaded her pictures onto the computer with mine.  She's the best 3-year old photographer I've ever seen!  Here's what I saw as I looked from her pictures to mine.

Here's the picture I took of Brenna and the picture she took of me at the same moment!

Here's what I took of Brenna taking a picture of Pickles and the picture she took of Pickles!

Of course there were alot of sky pics and grass pics, but there were some good ones too.  Here's one she took of Pickles.

And then there was the up close and personal pictures!

It was fun just to see what she'd come away with.  I'm seriously considering making room in the camera bag for Brenna's camera on vacation!
