Trip Home to Mississippi!

We made a quick trip home to Mississippi for the weekend. Brenna thoroughly enjoyed her time at Mawmaw and Pawpaw's house. Undivided attention along with a swimming pool, makes for good times for a 2 year old! After a great time at Anna's birthday party, we spent the rest of our time visiting and enjoying the pool. We also had some family photos taken by a local photographer, but more to come on that later. Here's some pictures from the week.

After long a afternoon in the pool, it was time for the traditional watermelon. When Brenna was learning her ABCs, we would say "W is for Watermelon", and she would say "Like at Mawmaw's house!" You can see it was finger licking good!

And finally a quick video of her swimming. As usually Brenna was fearless and wanted to "Do it all by myself!" She did a great job with the floaties on. It was more of a dog paddle, but with alittle more time in the pool, she'll get the hang of it.
