This year for Halloween Brenna randomly decided to be a pirate. I don't know where the idea came from, but after a quick search she was set on pink pirate costume! As a christian school, our school doesn't officially recognize the holiday. So there's no halloween parties and no costume day. But one of our bus drivers wouldn't let Halloween slip by without alittle fun.
A friend of ours had a Halloween party that both the kids and adults enjoyed. We even saw Donald Trump campaigning in Canada! There were lots of halloween games and treats. It was a late night followed by an early morning, since our church's children's Christmas choir kicked off with its first practice the next morning.
On Halloween night, rather than trick-or-treating at the mall, we had a fairly mild night. So, we met up with neighborhood friends and walked the neighborhood. I especially enjoyed this much more traditionally fun! Brenna and her friends came home with a bags full of candy and then spent the rest of the night handing out candy at home.
