For our 2nd class field trip of the month, we went to Pumpkin Junction, which is a pumpkin patch sponsored by one of the local churches. The kids all crammed into the little barn to hear The Pumpkin Parable.
Then we got to tour the pumpkins. They had pumpkins of every kind. Big and little ones, smooth and lumpy ones, orange, white, yellow, and green ones.
After our tour, the kids got to pick a tiny pumpkin for themselves. We enjoyed some singing and dancing, and then paused for some photo opts before walking the three blocks back to school.
