Just Stuff We Do

So far summer has been HOT!  We do what we can to stay cool and still stay active.  Staying indoors all day isn't an option for me or Brenna, so we head out first thing in the mornings for some backyard playtime.  Then we're indoors until late in the afternoon, just before sun down.

I'm always taking pictures, so here's a collection of all the stuff we do just to have fun while still staying cool.

We help daddy check the sprinklers

We play with the sidewalk chalk, first thing in the morning.

 

We go for bike rides on the creek trail late in the afternoons.

We've started our summer gymnastics classes.  Check out the pig tails!

And when all else fails, we get dressed and hit the nearest mall, mcdonald's, chick-fil-a indoor playground!

Well, that's been our summer so far.  We were out of commission for about a week because of the strep, but now we're back in action with a full summer of fun planned.  We plan to finally make our way to the pool this week and we've got a Preschool Splash Day planned for later with the church, so there will be more to summer fun to come!
