This morning was the Long Meadow Farms 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Brenna had a great time! They broke the children into age groups and had separate sections roped off for each group to hunt eggs in. Brenna's group really didn't have to hunt too hard. They had them inside the tennis courts, with eggs scattered all over the court. They lined the kids along the fence walls and then called "Go!" Despite what appeared to be "alot" of eggs, there were even more kids and the hunt lasted less than a minute! Brenna was a scavenger though and came away with 8 eggs! The eggs were all filled with candy, which she devoured once we got home.
Next, it was off to the Egg Races. The objective was to carry an egg in a spoon across the track and back again! Brenna understood that the egg needed to be in the spoon, but not that she couldn't hold it in there!
Brenna and Daddy at the starting line!Sprinting to the finish line!
Picking out her prize for winning the race!
And finally, the Bean Bag Toss! You can see the boy scouts helping out with the activities, passing out balloons! They always help with our neighborhood activities, which I think is great!
Before we left we snapped a few family shots. Our neighborhood is really good about doing things like this, and I appreciate it since Brenna always enjoys the activities so much! The next event is a "Movie Under the Stars" where they set up a screen on the back of the tennis court fence and everybody brings blankets and enjoys a family movie in the park. Can't wait for that!

Looks like yall had a great time! What a great neighborhood!!! I am glad Brenna found a way to be successful at the spoon race! Hey...whatever it takes!
